Jaded by the job search?
Rejection making you feel rubbish?
Let’s do this differently.
If you’ve developed an (ir)rational hatred of the job seeking process, you’re not alone. After noticing an increasing number of frustrated vents on Facebook job pages and LinkedIn recruitment posts, I went out and spoke to job hunters and it turns out that:
- 8 out of 10 people find the process frustrating,
- It takes longer than we think – a third of people have been looking for a new job for over a year,
- It’s potentially impacting our mental health:
- 90% of people find the process stressful
- 80% find their confidence suffers if they don’t hear back from a job application.
Plus if you’re not enjoying where you are now then it’s compounded even more. Full-time work accounts for over a THIRD of your waking life, that’s a massive amount of time to be hating on your job.
The good news is, this is where the Hired and Happy services come in. I learnt the hard way, which is why I throw everything into making it easier for you. Many of the people I spoke to said that there should be more support for job seekers and I’m excited that Hired and Happy is working for people – you can check out the evidence here.
The Hired and Happy difference is that the primary focus is YOU – the job seeker. Not only that but I’m with you for the WHOLE journey, all the way from working out what you want to do, right up to succeeding in your new role, and everything in between. We will work in partnership together, in an affordable way, to get you your new job and make your working life happy again. Find out more about how it works here.
